Hi, I’m Susann

Yes—S-u-s-a-n-n, with the extra “n.” If you say “Zoo,” then “sun” with a soft z sound, you’re pretty close to the German pronunciation.

I increase efficiency and save time—primarily in school district central offices and small businesses.

I Was Laid Off From My Dream (or so I thought)

For years, I worked at the district level supporting senior leadership, first through process design as an Administrator for Process Improvement (my dream job) and later as an Office Manager (the job that was more effective at what my dream job was supposed to be).

Through this transition, I learned that the most meaningful operational improvements don’t happen when talking about systems, but when working inside them—handling the day-to-day realities that keep offices running.

What Day-to-Day as an Office manager Looked Like

That meant managing:

  • signature requests,
  • contracts,
  • Board meetings
  • scheduling,
  • communications,
  • newsletters,
  • websites,
  • writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),
  • paying invoices
  • ordering supplies,
  • and answering the constant stream of “Where do I find…?” questions.

It also meant navigating an inbox that felt like a daily collection of urgent problems that should have been solved yesterday.

It was demanding work—but it was also eye-opening.

Here’s What I Started to Notice

Being embedded in daily operations revealed something critical: many of the biggest frustrations weren’t caused by people, but by inefficient workflows. Paper-based approvals. Scattered information. Manual processes that consumed far more time than they should.

When Small Fixes Made a Big Difference

Step by step, my team and I implemented small changes such as:

  • digital signature tools,
  • centralized internal information,
  • streamlined time-off requests,
  • and simplified communication pathways.

Small changes made a measurable difference. Time was saved. Friction was reduced. Capacity increased.

Why This Matters More Than It Seems

Optimizing even small administrative workflows has enormous potential—especially when scaled across an entire central office.

More time for meaningful conversations.
More bandwidth to support schools.
More resources are directed where they matter most.

Why I Built Office Clarity

That’s why I created Office Clarity.

I help district leaders and central office staff reduce frustration, bring structure to their operations, and create space for higher-impact work by optimizing how offices function day to day.
